The first step towards providing strength and dignity to women and their children is to provide the safety and stability of a safe place to sleep; a safe place to live; and a safe place to belong. Housing is the core of our programming.

The Dwelling Place strives to be a ministry that brings safety, healing, wholeness, and freedom to families affected by the tragedy of abuse by providing opportunities and tools for spiritual development and emotional growth that will lead women to make healthy choices for themselves and their children. We want to facilitate an understanding and opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and as a source of strength.

APPLY FOR THE PROGRAM

Start the intake process and meet in-person with a staff member. If we determine you would be a good fit for our program, our intake coordinator will talk with you about how to safely move you and your children into one of our available Safe Houses.

MOVE IN & BEGIN THE WORK

Once you arrive, you’ll start with our 30-Day Program which will give you a taste of life at The Dwelling Place. After the introductory period, we don’t put time pressures on our residents but allow you to progress through our class-based curriculum at your own pace.

FIND FREEDOM & SELF-SUFFICIENCY

Upon completion of the program, our staff will assist you in finding more permanent housing and employment to allow you to live sustainably in the way God intends for you and your family.
